PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND helps provide longer engine life through careful selection of base oils and careful blending of excellent additives.
MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND has been developed to offer superior protection for new generation engines that are the greatest challenge ever in the history of motor oil.  This new oil exceeds the requirements of CJ-4 and is suitable for use in 2007 EPA compliant low emissions engines.  The 2007 and newer engines, which employ advanced exhaust after treatment devices such as diesel oxidation catalyst, particulate filter/traps and increased rates of exhaust gas recirculation, challenge motor oils more than ever before.   MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND is suitable for use in heavy duty engines powered by both ultra low sulfur diesel and low sulfur diesel.

Meets and Exceeds SM/CJ-4

MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND was designed with 2007 and newer engines in mind, while keeping backward compatibility an important goal.  MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND is suitable for API CI-4 and CJ-4 diesel fueled engines, as well as meeting API SL and SM gasoline engine requirements.  MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND also meets and exceeds Mack EO-O Premium Plus 07, Cummins CES-20081, Detroit Diesel PG 93K217, Volvo VDS-4 and ACEA E7.

MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND possesses excellent friction reduction properties.  With both friction and wear minimized, your engine is better protected at start-up and during operation.  In addition, your engine will run cooler and your engine will produce greater horsepower for getting the job done right.  With MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND, your engine will run more efficiently and save money and energy.  It will offer a measurable amount of fuel economy.

Protects During Extreme Conditions

MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND gains several advantages from the MOLY XL package.  The moly particles prevent metal surfaces from coming in contact with one another, especially during start-up or during extreme preasure conditions.  Protection at extreme preassure means extended equipment life and reduced downtime expenses.  MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND goes one step further with its exclusive MOLY XL package by providing additives, which serve as copper de-activators.  This special formulation means extra protection for all copper and or bronze parts in an engine.  MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND offers advanced technology for advanced protection.

Contains TBN Booster

Because MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND is made for 2007 and newer engines as well as designed for backward compatible to older engines, Texas Refinery Corp. has put in a TBN booster to improve protection.  Most oils designed for the newer engines have TBN numbers in the 7 to 8 range.  Texas Refinery Corp. has added a TBN booster to get the TBN level up to a minimum of 10.  This means extra protection for those engines that are running fuels other than the Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, while at the same time offering superior protection for 2007 and newer engines..

Contains Finest Base Oils and Additives

MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND is the result of tremendous changes taking place in industry specifications.  In just the last few years, base oils, additives, fuels and engine designs have all undergone tremendous changes.  Texas Refinery Corp. has gathered the very finest base oils and additives to produce MOLY XL PRO-SPEC® IV SYNTHETIC BLEND.  This engine oil provides supeior performance in 2007 and newer engines, as well as backward compatibility for the older engines.
