has been developed to offer superior protection for new generation
engines that are the greatest challenge ever in the history of motor
oil. This new oil exceeds the requirements of CJ-4 and is
suitable for use in 2007 EPA compliant low emissions engines. The
2007 and newer engines, which employ advanced exhaust after treatment
devices such as diesel oxidation catalyst, particulate filter/traps and
increased rates of exhaust gas recirculation, challenge motor oils more

compatible to older engines, Texas Refinery Corp. has put in a TBN
booster to improve protection. Most oils designed for the newer
engines have TBN numbers in the 7 to 8 range. Texas Refinery
Corp. has added a TBN booster to get the TBN level up to a minimum of
10. This means extra protection for those engines that are
running fuels other than the Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, while at the same
time offering superior protection for 2007 and newer engines..
