Good Film Strength The base oils are of exceptional quality. The oils impart very good film strength characteristics. Because of this, it's recommended for use in plain bearings where high pressures or heavy shock loads are encountered. It is also recommended for use in anti-friction bearings subjected to high pressure or heavy shock loads where application is frequent and regular. Seals Out Contaminants Does an excellent job of sealing out contaminants. It helps keep out dust, dirt, and water much better than lighter weight greases. This can then lead to a decrease in the frequency of lubrication compared to other types of greases. Has Excellent Service Life The oil in WHEEL BEARING GREASE has high flash and fire points and yet has a very low pour point of -150F. The grease is formulated to meet the needs of bearings under both wet and dry conditions in the temperature range of -150F. up to 3000F. at moderate loads and speeds. Contains outstanding oxidation inhibitors which gives it exceptionally long service life without structural change, resists water wash out, and provides protection against rust and corrosion. Has Staying Power Naturally, in addition to the wheel
bearing type applications,
Helps Stop Noise Sometimes it's used because other greases allow too much noise. As machines become worn, bearings and shafts develop play. Loose, sloppy fits lead to noisy operation. Under such circumstances, the thick film provided by WHEEL BEARING GREASE cushions the excessive movement and significantly reduces the noise level. Compatible With Lithium Greases Has excellent water resistance, work stability, oxidation stability, protection against rust, good pumpability, and a wide variety of applications. Remember WHEEL BEARING GREASE is made with the most popular type of grease thickener - - lithium, which makes it compatible with most other wheel bearing lubricants. Specifications Product Code #8055
