LITHPLEX GREASE
  • WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE
  • VERSATILE
  • EXTREME PRESSURE QUALITIES
  • ADHESIVE AND COHESIVE
  • WATER RESISTANT
  • COMPATIBLE WITH MOST OTHER LITHIUM SOAP GREASES

LITHPLEX promotes top production and less downtime by providing superior lubrication to bearings, pins, and other grease lube points.
Representing a step up in quality and performance, Texas Refinery Corp. LITHPLEX GREASE provides excellent lithium complex soap lubrication for both general and special purpose use. Texas Refinery Corp. has retained the best features of Lithium 12-Hydroxy Stearate greases and combined these features with developments from modern day technology.

Wide Temperature Range

With an extremely high dropping point of 500 degrees Fahrenheit minimum, LITHPLEX is recommended for use in applications of extreme temperature - when normal greases with dropping points from 200 - 350 degrees fail to provide adequate protection. It resists high operating temperatures, staying put under demanding conditions and when other greases have melted away, it's still protecting . . . providing equipment better protection with less frequent lubrication.

Versatile

Its multi-purpose capabilities make LITHPLEX a suitable choice for full-service automotive lubrication. Can be used on chassis as well as wheel bearings where disc brakes are used. It is also outstanding when used as a heavy-duty industrial grease in applications such as electric motor bearings, and can be used as a general purpose lubricant in areas with elevated temperatures - sinter plants, pellet mills, coke plants, areas in blast furnace plants, continuous casters, rolling mills, and many other varied uses.

Extreme Pressure Qualities

With its Timken OK Load rating of 80 pounds minimum, LITHPLEX stands up to high pressure when other greases would fail. It forms an adherent film on surfaces, protecting against metal-to-metal contact.

Adhesive and Cohesive

By blending special "tackiness" agents into LITHPLEX a grease has been formulated that has excellent surface adhesion characteristics. It's also cohesive, meaning it has the ability to cling to itself, thus resisting tearing apart. These two characteristics allow the grease to cling to metal extremely well, providing protection against metal-to-metal contact and also makes a superb barrier against dust.

Water Resistant

Because lubrication is essential in applications where moisture is present, LITHPLEX has been especially formulated to resist moisture. It resists being washed off by water and displaces water on metal surfaces, keeping surfaces free from rusting, pitting, and corrosion.

Compatible With Other Lithium Soap Greases

Use of lithium soap greases is wide spread and can be found in virtually every area of grease lubrication.

It can readily mix with other greases and will continue to provide the needed protection. However, caution should be used when mixing with different soap bases. Mixing of any two incompatible types of greases can destroy the effectiveness of either one, resulting in loss of lubrication.

In addition, LITHPLEX is authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a H2 lubricant which has no contact with food.
