| DZL-PEP with
AAT (Advanced Additive Technology) is especially formulated to comply
with the Federal Low Sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor
vehicles and non-road engines. |
Multi
Performance Levels
Allows different treat rates based upon
the performance level required and based upon operating conditions.
For the ultimate in benefits, protection
and performance the Platinum Package is recommended at all times by Texas
Refinery Corp. One gallon treats 1,000 gallons of Diesel Fuel.
If fuel economy is not a primary concern
and operating conditions are less than severe, the Gold Package provides
valued benefits, performance and added protection. One gallon treats 1,500
gallons of Diesel Fuel.
If equipment is operated only occasionally
and a main concern is keeping fuel stabilized and refinery fresh, then
the best value is received with the Silver Package. One gallon treats 2,000
gallons of Diesel Fuel.
Superior
Fuel Injection Cleanliness
O.E.M.’s have recognized the value of
strong detergent additives, to increase engine durability and operating
performance. Clean injectors help maintain maximum combustion efficiency,
which increase fuel economy.
Cummins Engine Co. devised a test to
measure the effects of fuels and additives in heavy duty, direct - injection
engines, as it goes through loaded and unloaded cycles. In the Cummins
L10 injector deposit test, DZL-PEP, at all
treat ratios, has shown consistent and excellent performance results.
DZL-PEP’s
three performance packages, when tested in the Cummins L10 injector deposit
test, helped to achieve significant improvements in the CRC Plunger Rating,
when compared to untreated fuel. Any rating of 10 or less, by an additive,
means the additive package and the treated fuel exceed the performance
standards as outlined by the Engine Manufacturers Association. This means
an engine operating with fuel which passes the Cummins L10 Injection Deposit
test can expect peak performance and benefits.
Exceeds the performance standards outlined
by the EMA with ratings of less than 10.
Improved
Fuel Economy
Fuel Economy tests conducted according
to the SAE J1321 “Joint TMC/SA Fuel Consumption Test Procedure Type II”
using DZL-PEP showed a significant improvement
in fuel economy. Under the stringent test requirements base fuel treated
with the DZL-PEP Platinum Performance Package
showed an improvement in fuel economy of 3% minimum. The longer it's used
within a system the cleaner the system becomes and the better performance
one can expect in fuel economy.
Significant
Water Control
DZL-PEP
with its Advanced Additive Technology acts in a significant manner to control
the effects of water in fuel. The demulsifier promotes the seperation of
water and fuwl when water is excessive, preventing the formation of an
emulsion. By reducing emulsions you are also reducing rust and sludges
which can form in fuels. This helps fuel flow freely and allows free water
to be drained from fuel storage tanks. In vehicle tanks, where fuel is
recirculated, DZL-PEP allows a controlled amount of moisture to be absorbed
and burned with the fuel, keeping the vehicle tank and lines dry. With
the use of DZL-PEP, peak performance and driveability
are assured.
Improved
Lubricity
As engine temperatures increase and
diesel fuels change, added lubricity is a must. New diesel engines have
a higher probability of lubricity problems. These lubricity problems are
addressed and answered with DZL-PEP.
The most predominate fuel-injection
system is the direct-injection pump/line/nozzle system. This system uses
an in-line or rotary pump to send high-pressure fuel through steel lines
to nozzle assemblies in the cylinder head. Operating at high rates of speed
and tremendous pressure can mean increased wear and reduced performance
on fuel injection systems. The Advanced Additive Technology of DZL-PEP
provides added lubrication under severe conditions. This means extended
life, and improved performance for fuel pumps and injectors.
Reduces
Thermal Breakdown
In many of todays fuel systems fuel
is used as a coolant and circulated back to the tank. Fuel temperatures
have continued to rise. Average fuel temperatures have risen about 1000
Fahrenheit in the last ten years. Fuel is often pressurized above 20,000
PSI (over 30,000 PSI in some systems) and braised by temperatures in excess
of 6500 Fahrenheit.
Prolonged exposure to that kind of heat
can accelerate thermal breakdown of fuel, creating sediments and sludge,
which can alter spray patterns and plug filters. DZL-PEP
with its Advanced Additive Technology addresses this serious and growing
problem. Helps stabilize and maintain Diesel Fuel quality by protecting
against thermal degradation. Fuel treated with DZL-PEP
meets the requirements for the NCWM - - - (National Council of Weights
and Measurements) Premium Diesel Fuel Specifications.
