D-45 NF
DESCRIPTION:
D-45 NF is a white, flowing powder. It is a blend of specially selected alkaline detergents, foam control agents, water softening agents and wetting agents. In use concentrations, D-45 NF has a pH of 11-12. PURPOSE: D-45 NF is designed to remove light to medium petroleum soils and animal fats. Its foam control agents, alkaline detergents and the fact that it can be safely used on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, make it ideal for spray cabinet cleaning. Where low foam and aluminum safety are required, D-45 NF fills your needs. It can also be used for hot-vat cleaning. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: SPRAY CABINETS: Use at 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of water. For many operations, 2 ounces per gallon works best. Recommended solution temperatures is 160-200°F. "Sweeten" the cabinet as needed by addition of D-45 NF to replace that lost by drag-out and reaction with soil. How often a cabinet is "sweetened" and how much is added will vary from business to business. HOT VATS: D-45 NF is recommended to be used at concentrations of from 4 to 6 ounces per gallon water. Temperatures should be maintained at or near the boiling point for cleaning ferrous metals. The addition of agitation by means of a rolling boil or air agitation is a distinct advantage in the cleaning operation. For cleaning aluminum or other non-ferrous metals, temperatures should be between 160 and 180°F. GENERAL PURPOSE CLEANING: D-45 NF is recommended at concentrations of 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of hot or cold water. ADVANTAGES: 1. Foam control agents make it ideal for spray cabinet cleaning and other procedures requiring foam free operation. 2. Contains high speed wetting action ingredients for quick penetration of soils. 3. Contains a high degree of water softening ingredients insuring no residue on rinsing. 4. Compounded to be safe on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. 5. 100% soluble; 100% active; no fillers. 6. High soil dispersing ability insures longer solution life. 7. Easy to use. Just dissolve in water, heat and it's ready to clean. PRECAUTIONS:

HOW TO MEASURE A VAT To measure a vat you will need to multiply its: L(length) ft. x W(width) ft. x D*(depth) ft. x 7.48 = (gallons of working solution) or L(length) in. x W(width) in. x D(depth) in. _ 1728 x 7.48 = (gallons of working solution) * To arrive at the proper depth measurement, you must measure from the top of the working solution inside the vat to the bottom of the vat, NOT from the top of the vat itself. DO NOT put tape measure inside of vat. MEASURE FROM THE OUTSIDE ONLY. TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF VAT PRODUCT THE CUSTOMER WILL NEED Gallons of Working Solution x Recommended Product Concentration = Product Quantity For Example: Recommended product concentration is 1 pound per gallon solution: Vat measurement: 5 x 3 x 2 = 224.40 gallons x 1 = 225 pounds of product Recommended product concentration is 1'/ pounds per gallon of solution: Vat measurement: 5 x 3 x 2 - 224.40 gallons x 1.5 = 338 pounds of product Warranty and Liability Disclaimer The above information and recommendations concerning this product are based upon laboratory tests and field use experience; however, since conditions of actual use are beyond our control, any recommendations are made without warranty, expressed or implied.
